About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Freelance Marketing Assistant to support our growing portfolio of clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of marketing tasks, has excellent attention to detail and wants to develop their digital marketing skills while working alongside an experienced team.

You’ll assist with marketing campaigns, content creation, SEO tasks, social media, reporting and general marketing administration. Communication with clients will be needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with SEO projects, including keyword research and on-page optimisation.
  • Upload and format website content using WordPress or CMS.
  • Create and schedule social media content across multiple platforms.
  • Write blogs, website copy, case studies and email marketing content.
  • Assist with Google Business Profile updates and local SEO activities.
  • Carry out competitor and market research.
  • Prepare monthly marketing reports using Google Analytics, Search Console and other reporting tools.
  • Proofread marketing materials and website content.
  • Support email marketing campaigns.
  • Create simple graphics using Canva or similar software.
  • Help maintain marketing databases, spreadsheets and project management systems.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team.
  • Client in house visits may be require.
  • Excellent Google Analytics and Data Studio is a must

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Live in Milton Keynes and come into the office regularly
  • Excellent written English.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely.
  • Reports

Desirable:

  • Experience with WordPress.
  • Understanding of SEO principles.
  • Experience using Canva.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT to improve productivity.
  • Previous agency or marketing experience.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Ads
