Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in podiatric work and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves diagnosing and treating conditions related to the feet, ankles, and lower extremities, while also collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients’ feet and lower extremities
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Perform various podiatric procedures including but not limited to wound care, suturing, and treatment.
- Utilise EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
- Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding foot health and preventive measures.
- Stay updated on advancements in podiatry and related fields through continuous education and clinical research.
Requirements
- Valid HCPC license
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology relevant to podiatry.
- Strong patient assessment skills with the ability to develop effective care plans.
- Previous experience in a medical, setting or hospital environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and education.
